In this channel, you will be able to report any alleged irregularity or act contrary to current legality, or to the internal rules of which you are aware, and which implies an infringement in the following areas: Legality, Good Tax Practices and the Fight against Fraud; Gender Equality, Discrimination due to race, colour, religion or political opinion; Sexual and Moral harassment; Environment and Sustainable Development; Information Security and Data Protection; Corruption and Bribery; Health and Safety at Work; Conflict of Interests; Intellectual Property both own and third-party; Digital Disconnection. Our strategy on issues regarding Internal Information Systems and whistleblower defense is outlined below.
The management of the internal information system is based on the following principles:
This channel is available to all those people who have professional or employment relationships with this entity, and also to those who have already completed their professional relationship, or interns or volunteers working on an internship or training program, and even those who participate in selection processes. It is also available to the staff from contractors and collaborators, among others.
From this section, you can find the contact details and information for submitting a complaint:
In short, once the complaint is received, the company shall conduct an initial evaluation to determine whether it is appropriate for being managed through this channel. In the event of rejection, the informant shall be informed. In the event of acceptance, the informant shall be informed and the internal investigation shall begin. We shall inform you on the way your case has been managed and resolved, within a maximum term of 90 days. During this time, both the informant and the company shall be able to exchange information on the case. All the interested parties shall be notified with the final conclusions, within the legally established terms.
The entire information exchange between the informant and the entity is confidential, and safe communications are guaranteed throughout the process.
It is also possible to report inappropriate behaviour externally to a competent body (national or autonomous) that can receive and provide information. You can find contact details for this country, through its competent authority, typically, in the external complaints section.
Your anonymity shall be fully maintained when you send a complaint, unless you provide personal information voluntarily. It is not compulsory to provide any personal information. Remember that your e-mail address can identity you if it is made up, for example, of name.surnam@gmail.com.
The principle of good faith implies that the whistleblower acts diligently and responsibly, and that their complaint is based on true facts that reveal irregular, unlawful, criminal or non-compliant behaviour according to the organisation’s internal rules. The inappropriate use of this tool (for example, registering false reports) could lead to disciplinary and legal measures against the whistleblower.
As well as anonymity and confidentiality, the organisation guarantees protecting the whistleblower’s rights throughout the process.
Similarly, the right to privacy, the presumption of innocence and the protection of those who are the subject of the report shall be guaranteed. They shall be given minimum, sufficient information to allow them to be aware of the accusations against them.
The entire process of notifying, managing and resolving the submitted complaint is ruled by Law 2/2023, of 20 February, which regulates the protection of people who report on regulatory violations and fight against corruption, and by Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights.
